Position Description:
NOVA Networks is currently seeking a Microsoft Office 365 Solution Architect will utilize expert level experience and knowledge of Office 365 architecture, administration and best practice recommendations combined with a strong current and deep experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office Communications Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Active Directory, and Forefront Identity Manager, to assist with the design, development and deployment of messaging and communication solutions.
Responsibilities:
Designs, plans and performs Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 migrations
Proven design, planning and implementation experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 and Active Directory Design, planning and implementation experience with Windows Server technologies
Experience in other messaging solutions such as anti-virus/anti-spam appliances and or applications, archiving solutions, mobility solutions or real-time collaboration solutions a plus
Responsible for leadership and delivery of project based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept and deployment services
Facilitate and lead configuration planning meetings and articulate pros & cons of design/architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors – e.g. latency, storage, startup/shutdown
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software design, management information systems, engineering or a related field, desired;
- 10 years minimum of progressive experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms with extensive experience in design, architecture, and deployment of messaging solutions;
- Experience with solutions consulting spanning full-lifecycle technical leadership from requirements gathering through to implementation, transition, and operations;
- Microsoft Core Infrastructure (Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 R2, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, ADFS); Microsoft Messaging (Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013);Microsoft Virtualization (Hyper-V and/or App-V); Microsoft Windows 7 Desktop Deployment (Windows 7, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Windows Deployment Services); Microsoft System Center (SCCM, SCOM, SCSM, SCVVM); Microsoft SharePoint 2003/2007/2010/2013; Microsoft Lync / OCS; SQL Server
